Scale and consistency
ServiceTitan’s in-house creative branding team specializes in enterprise branding, with an emphasis on marketing initiatives. I built and maintained evolving component libraries, design systems, templates, and documented guidelines in Figma.
I constructed and deconstructed new and existing pre-made templates that had been tested and shipped
I authored comprehensive guidelines based on the best practices of designers, marketers, copywriters, and email and web developers
I cleaned up library at a granular-level by naming layers and using Figma’s auto-layout to speed up workflows and make components easy for other designers to use
Keeping up with company growth and increase project volume
Systems allow the team to produce collateral faster
Brand and marketing material becomes standardized

A communal design garden
Inititally, I was the sole designer of this project. After multiple brand acquisitions, a push to standardize and optimize workflows became the priority for a growing creative team. Part of this process involved advocating for Figma and its powerful capabilities that allow design teams to think in terms of scalability.
Now other designers have adopted the design system and are making contributions to the component library. What started as planting the seeds for what I like to think of as a design garden, became a communal ecosystem.
